The Fabbian philosophy does not betray the ideals that led to the founding of the company in 1961. The production of lamps for home and contract has always been accompanied by an understanding of the needs of the markets, as well as the formulation of careful marketing strategies. Although the company is strongly present on international markets, it remains purely Italian, because it is in the Bel Paese that the most important collections are produced. This purely local dimension, combined with a global vocation, has led the brand to develop a strong social sensitivity. In fact, Fabbian products use low-consumption LEDs that guarantee long life and a lower environmental impact. Combining love for tradition, technological research and care for the environment, the activity has been able to conquer the markets of Europe, Middle East and Asia, not forgetting North America.
Pendant lamps, ceiling lights and spotlights by FabbianFabbian's strength lies in its international dimension. The activity has been collaborating for years with Italian and foreign designers to offer lighting solutions for interiors and exteriors that are close to the needs of the public. The collaboration with Marc Sadler stands out, among others. The prolific Austrian designer, in fact, has signed for the Italian brand some works appreciated by the markets, such as Giunco. It is a plastic floor lamp made of fiberglass stems and painted metal base. The naturalistic atmospheres of Giunco are contrasted by Beluga Colour, a wall lamp that combines the delicacy of glass with a solid but slender chromed metal structure. This model gives its name to Sadler's collection of the same name, which also includes table lamps, spotlights and suspended lighting points.
Prospero Rasulo has also collaborated with Fabbian to create suspension lamps and more. The Bijou collection, for example, is embellished with works that play with shapes, preferring from time to time roundness and shiny surfaces, or more squared shapes, or thin structures. The Russian firm Vim & Vigor has instead signed the Oru collection. Oru F25 A07, suspension lamp that gives all the warmth of burnished copper, is a proposal with a classic and minimalist taste, which furnishes and at the same time offers design suggestions. Functionality and the search for beauty characterize the works of Mathieu Lehanneur, who with the Cloudy collection reaffirms the cosmopolitan character of Fabbian. The suspension lamps of this line are characterized by their rounded appearance, obtained thanks to the use of blown glass combined with die-cast aluminum structures.
Fabbian: not only indoor and outdoor lightingFor Fabbian, offering quality products does not only mean producing new collections of pendant lamps, or spotlights. The Italian company, on the other hand, looks at lighting as a whole, an underlying theme that embraces many dimensions of design. This is the case of Metropole, a luminous wall created by Marc Sadler. A decorative element that, through its internal structure, lets the light escape, creating suggestive visual games. A creation designed to embellish hotel lobbies or accommodation facilities, designed to be a vehicle for new emotions.
Along the same lines is Laminis, a glass partition panel proposed by Klinamen and designed to delimit spaces through light. The small sections of the central structure let elaborate light patterns, created by halogen or LED lamps, filter through. Talking about lighting, however, also means paying attention to fire, the element that has always accompanied man and illuminated the darkness. Fabbian pays homage to this element with Cubetto, candle holder by Robertopamio + partners available in sandblasted crystal, or with white or black paste glass.
