Founded in 2009 by Creative Director Fabián Pellegrinet Conte and Managing Director Ross Hamilton Englisbe, French furniture brand Hamilton Conte moves from Scandinavian minimalism, to Parisian elegance to American modernity, creating furniture, lighting and unusual design objects. Passionate about interior design and influenced by a variety of styles and cultures, Englisbe and Conte have combined pragmatism and creativity in a brand devoted to craft, detail and originality. Based in Paris, Hamilton Conte's furniture is produced in Portugal, where seating, furniture, lamps and accessories are handcrafted using traditional methods. Modern and timeless pieces take shape to satisfy a demanding clientele geared towards a contemporary interpretation of luxury. The Paris showroom opened in 2014 in the elegant 7th arrondissement on the city's Left Bank; it was joined in 2018 by the space in Belgravia, London - an exclusive neighbourhood not far from Hyde Park, giving the name to the contemporary sofa with Art Deco accents.

Hamilton Conte's collections include a complete range of interior furnishings from sinuous upholstered furniture, the brand's trademark, to striking lighting and accessories with unusual combinations of materials and organic shapes. All of the brand’s products are tied together by the leitmotif of excellent crafting and the possibility of satisfying custom requests through an extensive catalogue of materials and finishes. Many of the brand’s pieces are inspired by the personal stories of the two founders. The Enzo chair, for example, is an enveloping and comfortable armchair dedicated to Fabian's father, who loved to sip his cognac in his living room. The Aggi and Agathon armchairs (a tribute to Agathon Fabergé, a descendant of the famous Russian jewellery family) were born from a passion for 1970s James Bond films, whose retro-futuristic style is translated into perfect furnishings for a reading nook. Comfort is the starting point for all upholstered furniture with particular attention devoted to ergonomics and the quality and density of the foam, which expresses Englisbe and Conte's passion for curved forms. Emblematic of this approach is one of the brand's best sellers - the Ignacio sofa - whose sinuous forms lend dynamism to any context.
