FLAG

Flag S.p.A. has been established in 1963. It was then called Flexon Italiana, and started producing materials for the agricultural sector in collaboration with Montedison, particularly dedicating to waterproof membranes for protected cultures and water storage facilities. In 1970 the company changes its name into Flag S.p.A. and expands its business areas introducing synthetic membranes both in the Italian market of industrial roofing and in the first examples of waterproofing protection for underground works. Since then the Company has always been the Italian leading company of that sector, promptly responding to the solicitations and innovations required by the market, and has established itself as reference manufacturer of waterproofing systems, at first in highly performing PVC-P and, later, in TPO/FPO. It’s no more just an Italian success, but, starting from the 90ies it assumes an international connotation, the company establishes 5 more branches all over Europe and asserts as the waterproofing systems supplier for the outmost international works. At the end of 2007 FLAG SpA enters the French group Soprema, one of the world leaders for the production of roofing materials and for waterproofing systems employing more than 3800 people, with 16 production sites, 12 commercial branches and 50 distributors in more than 80 countries all over the world. Nowadays FLAG Spa is ready to offer 4 production lines dedicated to PVC-P and TPO/FPO synthetic waterproofing membranes, specifically designed for all building sectors: Roofing, underground works, hydraulic works and swimming pools.
