Established in Merate, Northern Italy, in 2006, STUDIO76 is multidisciplinary practice design with emphasis on architectural design, landscape planning, interiors design and buildings renovation. Constant commitment, at each design different steps, is given with special enhancement on performance analysis, functional validity and expressive quality related to the actual scenery of the project. STUDIO76 aims to achieve a design vision which, following the identification of client’s chore challenges and goals, brings to a full integration of partners, consultants and craftspeople skills. An ongoing updating and experimentation with materials and technologies, together with careful check of set performances and economic impact, is the guideline for appropriate results also in post-architectural practice. The main object being the ability of facing projects in a joint methodological approach with a close eye at every disciplinary aspect in all steps of working progress: since the project’s conception tough overall view is performed from various architectural styles to urban planning, from interior to furniture design as well as graphic work and furnishings. Every project gets continuous, vigilant tracking on four chief concepts which represent the basic goal of our work: QUALITY, namely pragmatic research of the architectural value to set on the project design by combining functionality and aesthetics thus getting harmonious and coherent unity between shape and technology as part of the environmental context. FULL PROCESS COMPLETION, namely design operation involving all execution characters which are going to build up the architectonic body. Each aspect being considered as both a unique value and as an integral part of the whole project. Materials specifications and structural data are final results of aesthetic choices but fully acquainted to performing quality within rigorous attention to stated budgets. SUSTAINABILITY, namely close attention to the environment and to building lifespan and occupancy issues. Efficient energy consumption and bioclimatic features are constantly focused. Aesthetic choices always match energy performances involving buildings orientation and outer shape together with human welfare. CONTROL AND SUPERVISING, namely careful check on each project constraint from the conception through completion of construction and final testing. Attention is fully paid to costs for project design and execution as well as future building maintenance.
