Studio Kluif: not a default name, no standard design. Tough, no nonsense, determined, with a hint of humor. Typical Kluif. Since the start in 1999, much has changed but the fundament never changed over the years. For example, the founders Paul Roeters and Jeroen Hoedjes are still in charge, complemented by a team of 12 designers and supporting staff. At Kluif no project- or accountmanagers, you're simply in contact with one of our designers. Studio Kluif focuses on the full range of design. Packaging design, creative strategy and identity design is the foundation from which we work. Always with the same mentality and methods but never with the same result. Each project has its own purpose. This requires a unique approach where 'beautiful' is an aspiration, but never a start. Design is communication, the message goes above form and not vice versa. In the world of communication nothing stands on its own. A logo is not a brand strategy. A corporate identity tells a larger story. In today's society with its visual bombardment, nothing works without a clear, recognizable base. Not a cramped or confined one but one that gives clarity. All statements, however diverse, interlock and are part of a larger, recognizable entity.
