We are kadawittfeldarchitektur. Our office, founded by Klaus Kada and Gerhard Wittfeld in Aachen in 1999, today stands for much more than simply creating architecture. The interdisciplinary approach of our work, in linking architecture, interior design and design on the one hand and in the interface to city planning and urban projects on the other hand, reflects the range of our creative output.

We develop space with added value. Our young, creative team, consisting at present of more than 170 persons, produces architecture with added value, space for living, communicating and working. Our idea of sustainable architecture for today is buildings and places that combine functional performance, spatial and aesthetic quality, ecology and economy to make a permanent contribution to cities, serving the interests of both the users and the public.

Our building projects are international. Together with our clients we seek forward-looking solutions for comprehensive needs through the interplay of tradition with new technologies, from the creative idea through to careful details. Thanks to long experience on many different projects we stand for the very highest level of competence in planning and realisation on time and on budget. Projects such as the University of Applied Sciences and the company headquarters of the Pappas Group in Salzburg/Austria, the HSL Headquarter in Ljubljana/Slovenia, the head office of the AachenMünchener insurance company in Aachen/Germany and the Research, Design and Marketing Headquarter for the adidas Group in Herzogenaurach/Germany are representative of our numerous projects in Germany and other countries. In addition we have won many independent competitions, including those for the main rail station in Salzburg/Austria and the concert hall in Padua/Italy.
