CORE Architects Inc. is an award-winning group of architects and interior designers based in Toronto. Since our formation in 1994, we have quickly distinguished ourselves amongst our competitors by our innovative yet thoughtful design solutions. Since our inception, CORE has been responsible for the design of over 150 condominiums projects, 50 of which are in the downtown core of Toronto; the urban-master planning for over 200 million square feet of residential development; numerous private residences, restaurants, hotels, resorts, retail stores, office environments, and a number of recreational and sports clubs, across Canada, the U.S., and internationally. CORE understands the street-level urban fabric of a city, its urban core and near-suburbs. Our architectural practice includes extensive experience with all types of residential buildings including townhouses, mid-rise and high-rise. At CORE we select and sometimes even combine these various types to best suit the context. Our site planning considers the transition from new to existing conditions. Working with municipal governments, developers and communities CORE has created residential designs that compliment neighborhoods, while being extraordinarily sensitive to each neighborhood’s culture, dynamic and aesthetic. CORE has created award-winning solutions while considering building massing, density, traffic and parking. We incorporate sustainability, green space and amenities that appeal to the urban population, and make these developments successful.
