Tchoban Voss Architekten

The studio emerged in 1931 from the collaboration of architects Herbert Sprotte and Peter Neve, who–only deferred by World War II–successfully established themselves in Hamburg. Ever since, the company has continuously been developing and realizing contemporary architecture. Joining the office between 1970 and 1974 architects Alf M. Prasch, Wolfgang Nietz and Peter Sigl implemented a generation change at the core of the company. In addition to numerous regional projects, the studio’s first international construction projects were launched in the Middle East during the 1980s. After opening branches in Berlin and Dresden, architects Sergei Tchoban and Ekkehard Voss joined the studio as new corporate partners. Since 2009 management has been expanded by four associates in Hamburg, one in Dresden and four project partners in Berlin. And since 2017 the studio's name is Tchoban Voss Architekten
