Guarnieri Architects is a design-led, contemporary architecture and interior design practice, based in London. Founded in 2004 by Marco Guarnieri, Guarnieri Architects brings together a group of individuals who are passionate about architecture and who care about the needs of their clients and each individual project, whatever its scale, location, or type. Guarnieri Architects' design is scientific as well as creative. By taking a strategic and analytical approach, the practice strives to control all aspects of a design, from the initial concept right through to detail design. The team understands and appreciates the specifics of each remit, brief, site, and budget, while striving to achieve coherent, sustainable projects. The practice has developed in recent years expertise in designing the envelope of new and existing buildings. It has also developed skills in dealing with contemporary additions to conservation areas as well as the development of environmental and urban strategies. The practice has completed buildings in the UK, Italy and Israel, across corporate and private residential sectors and regularly engages in international competitions. Central to the practice's philosophy is maintaining a good balance and mix of gender, nationality and cultural background amongst the staff in the office.
