Stian Mørland and Brynjulf Krokstrand both have a bakcground with in design from Oslo National Academy of the Arts. They met on a project about design ethics and established ULIK in 2005. The design duo has worked with in design and interior architecture with a main focus on furniture and product design. Design philosophy: “We have a mode of expression that is simple and clean with only a few shapes dominating the overall expression. At the same time we wish to add something extra through details or a function that gives a good experience to those using the product. We like to make long lasting design and never set limits for ourselves in the design process.”
