Giugiaro Architettura

Giugiaro Architettura was founded in 1995 from within the Italdesign Giuqiaro Group) an historical Italian brand run by Giorgetto Giugiaro, and considered a driving force of creativity and innovation in the field of implementing design for industrial products. Giugiaro Architettura, developed from within the very heart of the industrial design, engineering and prototype development division, has quickly become a strategic business unit active in architectural and city planning, and who over the years have augmented their skill range and developed projects at truly 360°.

In 2003 it became an independent company, a structure capable of responding to international architectural market demand. In just five years, thanks to a close-knit team of professionals and also to the use of leading edge tools and technologies, this studio has succeeded in reaching important goals at both national and international levels, from the USA to Russia, from the United Arab Emirates to Japan. A background that stems from the world of design (most unconventional for an architectural studio), and familiarity with industrial production processes, have encouraged the development of wider areas of interest, which effectively manage to unite the two core competences of the company: architectural planning and design.

The project management style of Giugiaro Architettura is in fact based on rather different approach that turns standard rules for design upside-down and reinstates a return to architectural project management for all projects, and not just buildings. And thus a whole range of activities apart from civil and industrial architecture are required: street furniture, interior design, yacht design, exhibition stand set-up, hotel contracts, urban and country planning, illumination engineering and demotics. Giugiaro Architettura applies a golden rule to every project; that of faithfully adhering to the goals defined in the planning stage right through to the finished project, thus ensuring the client what Giugiaro Architettura loves to call Honest Architecture.
