1+1=1

1+1=1 is a partnership led by Claudio Silvestrin and Giuliana Salmaso, two architects who love to design together, taking strength and challenge from their mutual skills. Their work is the result of two personalities and uniqueness metaphorically seen as stone and water, stability and movement. The two different natures are visible in the practice’s projects that are showing a creative language free from repetitive signs. Claudio, Giuliana and their design team are dedicated to architecture, urbanism and research. Clients include Vodafone, Tetra Pak, laRinascente. The practice is currently working on the Tetra Pak innovation centre in Modena (in collaboration with Trombini Studio), a department store project for laRinascente in Florence and a residential towers development in Ulaanbaatar.
