Hilario Isola and Matteo Norzi

Hilario Isola e Matteo Norzi (both Torino Italy, 1976) have worked collaboratively since 2003, pooling their backgrounds and interests in art history, museology, and architecture. Together they create delicate, often visually subtle installations that respond directly to the context, that being the space of the gallery, the landscape or any particular environment. The duo has exhibited internationally, including at Art in General, NY; Artists Space, NY; SculptureCenter, NY; CCA Canadian Centre for Architecture, Montreal; Museion, Bozen; David Roberts Art Foundation, London; GAM Galleria Civica d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea Torino; Fondazione Bevilacqua la Masa Venezia; Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Guarene; NMNM Nouveau Musée National de Monaco, Montecarlo. They live and work in Torino and New York.
