Julie van De Keere (02/02/1984) graduated in 2007 with a Master degree in architecture at Sint-Lucas in Ghent, Belgium. Afterwards she did her practice time working at Conix architects in Antwerp.

Mathieu Luyens (27/01/1984) also graduated in the same year at Sint-Lucas. His first practice time was in Ibiza with Minimum Arquitectura. Working in a different country with different types of houses opened new perspectives in architecture. During their practice time in Belgium Mathieu & Julie soon realized that they wanted to start their own office.
