Catherine Le Téo and Thierry Blet studied at the Camondo school of Arts in Paris (Union Centrale des Arts Décoratifs) before creating their own studio. They are known for their interior architecture and product design work in various sectors such as office furniture, lighting, perfume, textiles and more recently jewellery and home interiors. Their artistic consultancy work for companies both in France and abroad has led them to work in the creation of branding strategies, product design and visual identity. In parallel their interest in African culture lead them some years ago to design and create furniture and jewellery based on Western African traditions, employing highly skilled local craftsmen These collections were so appreciated by the fashion sector that 2 years ago, Le Téo & Blet opened their own gallery in the centre of Paris featuring fine silver, gold and gemstone jewellery. Le Téo & Blet share the same enthusiasm for discovering new ideas and outlooks, new people and places, and mixing all these inspirations into their creations.
