Box Design

Box Design is owned and operated by designer team Ann Morsing and Beban Nord. Both trained as interior architects at the Royal Academy of Arts and Crafts in Stockholm. After some years of creating offices and shop spaces, they started to design more and more furniture for their own assignments. From that point Morsing and Nord have created an impressive collection of contemporary Scandinavian furniture. During the last few years, in addition to their own series, they have produced furniture designed by the American sculptor and designer Lloyd Schwan and by the architect Johannes Norlander. The collection contains a range of products mainly aimed at the contract market but also, as it has proved to be, widely accepted by a design orientated home market. Box Design is different from almost any other producer or design group based on the fact that it is created and/or judged from a female point of view. The sincere devotion to the Scandinavian spirit and heritage and love for simple design is the driving force for Morsing and Nord and the team behind Box Design.
