TECE ARCHITECTS

The practice was established in 1992. Tulin Hadi and Cem Ilhan, being the key figures of the design group have produced in various fields and scales throughout their commisions. The workshop has grasped a creation philosophy in which intuition, knowledge and experience become the driving motives, enabling them to introduce significant work on different scales. Their work covers urban planning, architectural design, interiors, and consultancy.

Each design is a new case on its own and a new beginning where clichē solutions can not be proposed. Sensitivity to user needs and introduction of economic solutions is our major concern in every design issue. Each project is based upon the reality of its context. Thus, the end result is the harmonious interplay of space, materials, colour, light and the use of technology. In such a creation process stylistic mannerism and temporary solutions are willingly denied. Instead, the nature, human and existence become the prevailing values.

TeCe Architects continue produce in their office in Caddebostan. It can be seen the traces of critical regionalizm througout the content, variation and the scale of their work. Overall design philosopy of TeCe has been enriched by the contribution of the architects in the team.
