OKHA designs character focused, material driven, luxury furniture, lighting and objet d'art of integrity. Our flagship store is in Cape Town with distributors in Los Angeles, London, New York, Chicago and Miami.

OKHA was founded in 1997 by South African architects SAOTA. In 2007 Adam Court joined as Creative Director. Adam has a background in fine art and has worked globally in various creative genres including film, fashion and photography. With his explorative, forward-thinking and emotionally intuitive approach to design, he has developed the brand into the preeminent South African design label it is today.

OKHA has its headquarters in 109 Hatfield, the landmark building at the foot of Cape Town’s Table Mountain, also home to SAOTA and ARRCC.

“It is no longer good enough to create luxury for luxury's sake," says Adam. "Luxury must go beyond consumerism, finding its basis in the integrity of the design and a respect for materials and the desire for longevity. Design is an art where both personal expression, form and function can merge and should endure”.
