Since its foundation in 1969, NCK principal field of activity consists in the performance of consulting structural engineering services for Architects and other clients in the building industry. The majority of these services are rendered in connection with the construction of large commercial and institutional projects as well as of special structures unusual in their complexity or scope. With an ever-present concern to improve the practice of consulting engineering and to assist in shaping its regulatory framework, our firm has and still presently participates in the activities of various technical committees, at the national as well as the international levels. In this context, over the years, the partners have sat on committees responsible for drafting codes and technical specifications set up by learned societies, or have been members of scientific and technical commissions appointed by the Quebec Government.
