Our offices, named after a great family, were founded in 1937 by the architect Juan Sordo Madaleno. At the end of the 1960s, the firm developed Mexico’s first two regional shopping centers—Plaza Satélite and Plaza Universidad, both in Mexico City—which are ranked among the country’s most successful retail properties. The firm’s second phase began in 1982, under the leadership of award-winning architect and designer Javier Sordo Madaleno Bringas. Today, people trust brands because they know there are companies backing them with quality, service and value, with proven processes to assure their objectives. This principle of consumer products is also the principle for our real estate developments. We have grown vigorously and will continue to do so.
