Scandurra Studio Architettura, founded by Alessandro Scandurra in 2001, works on projects at every scale, pursuing an endless research upon space and contemporaneity.

With clients such as Zurich, Coima, Savills, Kryalos, Ardian, Hines, EuroMilano, Generali, Estel, Luceplan, Palladio Museum, Peck, NH Hotels, SSA realizes projects around the world, developing numerous themes: territorial planning, urban and architectonic design, interior design in its various types – residential, office, restaurants and bars, hotels – exhibit design, product design.This diversification is due to a structured office, qualified in the different architectural disciplines,a multidisciplinary and multicultural team aimed at the development of projects showing high communicative capacity and market intellectual research, strictly tied to the representative values of Italian culture around the world for both product design and architecture.This research focuses on Alessandro Scandurra’s role as artistic director for Italian design companies and as a scientific director for the Fondazione Portaluppi in Milan. He edited the coordinated image of Luceplan and Estel, designing showrooms.and stands in Milan, Copenhagen, Moscow, Beijing, New York, Frankfurt, Paris.

Among the latest projects are to be mentioned Cascina Merlata Up Town, the first Smart District in Italy; via Vittorio Veneto and via Di Villa Emiliani (Parioli district), smart offices in Rome; Arco, luxory apartments in Brera district; Via Mazzini 9 and Spiga, smart offices in Milano’s main center; Testi 280 in Bicocca Business District; Expo Gate, info-point of Expo 2015, completed in 2014 and shortlisted for the Mies van der Rohe Awards 2015.
In 2009 SSA completes Zurich Insurance Italian headquarters, nominated for the Mies van der Rohe Award 2011, and finalist in Medaglia d’Oro all’Architettura Italiana 2012.
