Taylored Architecture’s principal, Jonathan Taylor, credits much of his architectural knowledge to working with some of the most acclaimed architects of our time. Before starting Taylored Architecture PLLC, Jonathan worked for and learned from residential architects Hugh Newell Jacobsen and Simon Jacobsen at Jacobsen Architecture in Washington, DC, and also collaborated with the award-winning architecture firm Foster + Partners. His commercial experience includes working at Shalom Baranes Associates in Washington, DC, and Morris Adjmi Architects in New York City. Some of Jonathan's favorite professional residential architectural experience includes the Nantucket House, Napa Valley House, and Windsor Florida House at Jacobsen Architecture, as well as the New Orleans Residence at Morris Adjmi Architects. Jonathan is also proud to have worked on many acclaimed professional commercial buildings, including 408 Greenwich Street, 414 West 14th Street, 27 West 19th Street, The High Line Building, 254 Front Street, and 345 West 14th Street at Morris Adjmi Architects, as well as West End 25 and City Center DC at Shalom Baranes Associates.

Jonathan's foundation of building and construction knowledge comes from working with his father's design-build construction company on many award-winning homes in the Thousand Islands region of NY. Jonathan received his Masters of Architecture from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and his Bachelors of Science from the University of Vermont. His inspiration comes from his love of nature, forms, construction, and his family.
