Originally from Hyogo Prefecture, Takaaki Maeda studied product design at a university in Japan’s Kansai region and explored automotive design on his own initiative. He is currently a product designer for two home appliance companies based in Tokyo, while also maintaining an independent design practice. His main ambition is to present the unique strengths of his client companies to a global audience in the most compelling way. With experience exhibiting his work both in Japan and internationally, Takaaki has received widespread recognition, including several esteemed design awards.
