2014 was huge for China’s Design world. Last year’s Design Shanghai Event welcomed 47,000 visitors and forged new ground for the country’s flourishing design community. The world’s best brands came together to offer a unique display of furniture designs for China’s most influential industry experts. You won’t want to miss what Shanghai’s most successful design event has got in store this year, so mark your calendars because registration is now open for Design Shanghai 2015!
This year’s event will take place from the March 27th-30th in the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the former Sino-Soviet Friendship Building. The event will see the return of some of the world’s finest design brands with new additions like Bo Concept, Moroso, Foscarini, Vitra, Seletti, Ibride and Fritz Hansen. The works will be divided into 3 halls: Contemporary, Classic, and Collectives.
More than 60,000 visitors will be greeted by recent masterpieces in the Collectibles section. Contributions by Paul Kelly Design, Paere Dansk, Method Studio, Fine Furniture Maker, and Chaircreative are sure to stun at the event. John C. Taylor will also be present with his 24 carat gold plated Dragon Chronophage.
