A chair, a dollhouse, a storage: these three distinct functions come together in the same object. Torafu Architects have designed a very original piece of furniture.
The designers explained: "We designed a chair for kids, which can be used as a dollhouse and storage. When split apart down the middle, the chair reveals the shape of a house with a red gable roof.
Kids can play dollhouse with their toys and stow them away with other small objects by shutting the chair close once playtime is over".
koichi suzuno and alicja strzyżyńska of torafu architects give the name ‘dollhouse chair’ to the object, (made by ichiro brand) for its multiple purpose use.
dollhouse chair is both furnishing and kids toys, that helps children to become 'little architects'!
