The hotel ENDÉMICO RESGUARDO SILVESTRE, designed by graciastudio, is a group of twenty separate hotel rooms, each one 20 sq m in size spread out over an area of 94 hectares in the Guadalupe valley, Baja California in Mexico.
One of the main assumptions was that of not intervening directly on the land and the fundamental element of the project philosophy is total respect of nature.
The availability of steel provided by the client made for a clean project which springs from the ground thanks to a structure called EcoLoft, avoiding contact with the ground.
The corten steel used to clad the rooms externally ensures that thanks to atmospheric agents, they assume different shades in time, meaning that they blend in with the surrounding environment.
A “luxury campsite” which satisfies all the needs of the guests by preserving contact with nature at the same time.
