Are you an Architect, Interior Designer or a Professional that wants to venture into the fascinating world of design of public places? It is well known that in this context the design, the setting and the atmosphere are essential. Well! 'HO.RE.CA. Design - Hotel Restaurant Café' is the course for you.

On 3rd March2014 inMilan, POLI.design – Consortium of Politecnico di Milano hosts the opening of the new course in “HoReCa Design – Hotel Restaurant Café – To Design and Furnish Innovative Entertainment Spaces” in English, which is centred on innovation and interior design in the hospitality, catering and entertainment industry. It is the first edition of a new cycle of courses aimed at international architects and professionals active in these relevant market sectors.

Advanced training, international trends, Design and relationship with the market

The course HoReCa Design in English takes place inItaly, inMilan, the Capital of Design, from 3rd to 7th March 2014: an intensive week of lessons that fits the needs of designers and professionals. It proposes an advanced training path and studies in depth the international evolution of these sectors and the essential role of design and the new design languages in the market’s innovation process.

The course takes place at POLI.design – Politecnico di Milano (Campus Bovisa), and includes 40 hours of lessons in class in English held by Politecnico di Milano lecturers and renowned researchers and professionals, on design topics, furniture, materials, colour, lighting, marketing and international trends scenarios.

The programme includes also, after the lessons in class, educational tours guided by the teachers aimed at analysing hotels, restaurants and significant spaces in Milan.

Scholarships for the first course in HoReCa Design in English

Scholarships offered by the Academic Sponsors are available. The Academic Sponsors are Made-in-Italy companies particularly attentive to the role of design and the relationship with the designers, and oriented to exporting to foreign markets.
