COMPETITION _ Opengap has launched the new funny competition A house for… design a house for a client that you propose.
Participants are invented to explore the boundaries and paradigms of house designing. To work in innovative and visionary proposals which can both, think in a basic housing program and the relation of identity between the customer and the project. Each participant or team will propose the client for designing a house. This will be a person of interest and inspiration for the project.
Each contestant or team will be able to choose the location of their project, the only limitation as to the dimension of the project is that the house must have a max construction area of 1500 mq.
The submitted proposals will be part of a virtual exhibition within the OPENGAP web, which will open this debate to other architects and interested individuals.
All architects, designers, architecture students and individuals interested in the topic around the world can enter this competition of ideas. Proposals may be presented individually or as a team of up to 5 people max.
The proposal submission deadline is until until 12 September 2013.
Will be awarded the three best projects with a first Prize of 2000€, a second Prize of1000 € and a third Prize 500 €.
