Park Associati are launching the third edition of their call for applications for young designers offering Park Hub, the exhibition area within their Milan architectural studio.
The call is addressed to all under-30 designers wishing to exhibit their work to the international public of the next Milano Design Week, to be held from 5th to 10th April 2022.
At Park Associati, we question ourselves about how design can answer the most pressing queries that concern the political, social and environmental issues of our time.
Here are some possible topics or food for thought:
- Can design contribute to the debate on the political, social and cultural changes taking place in the world?
- The challenges that need to be met to create a sustainable future are increasingly visible. How can design deal with the climate emergency and the need for a more responsible use of resources?
- How can design help bridge the gender gap? And what about the generational or wealth gap?
The proposed work must transform an idea and intent into something concrete, tangible, and meaningful.
The aim is not to give a precise answer to all the questions but to enable participants to express themselves freely on current issues by exhibiting a project that either reflects real social engagement, proposes solutions or has a story to tell.
