Hotel Missoni opened shop a year and a half ago in the heart of the old part of Edinburgh. The interiors, designed by creative director Rosita Missoni (one of the founders of the Missoni label), are bold, forthright and dramatic.

The overall colour scheme is a simple, stylish black & white punctuated with brilliant flashes of colour. Rosita Missoni has cleverly combined the unmistakable Missoni prints with the work of important designers such as Marcel Wandes, Eero Saarinen and Arne Jacobson.

Arranged over the 6 floors of the property, guests will discover iconic pieces of design, such as Hans J Wegner’s Wishbone Chair. Each Hotel Missoni is reflective of its location and as a tribute to the Scottish heritage, Rosita has included pieces by Charles Rennie Mackintosh including his famous Ladderback Chair.
