Open House Milano is your chance to discover the lesser known architecture of Milan: from iconic architectural sites to completely unknown places. This edition, taking place from May 7th to 8th, will unlock sites like university residences, new working spaces and private homes.
The tour will start near the Piazza del Duomo and expand out into the ancient districts that characterize Milan, stretching from ancient to modern, and showcasing what Milan has to offer for the future. Sites like the Unicredit Pavilion by Michele De Lucchi, the stunning Bosco Verticale by Boeri Studio, and the MUDEC by David Chipperfield Architects will all be accessible for visitors to observe.
Archilovers and Archiportale are proud to be partnering with this first edition of Open House Milan, a major international festival which aims not only to increase the knowledge of architecture in the city of Milan, but also to encourage good design and engineering, and to increase public engagement with architecture, planning and construction.
