Silvia Paredes graduated with outstanding grades from the Faculty of Architecture of the University of A Coruña (ETSAC) in 2001 and obtained her MBA from the Madrid´s IE Business School in 2012. She joined Foster+Partners London in 2002 to work on the expansion of the Museum of Fine Arts, which was completed in 2010 and obtained the RIBA International Prize in 2011. In 2006 she transferred to Foster+Partners Madrid, for which she worked on the High Court of Justice and Supreme Court (Ciudad de la Justicia) project in Madrid as well as on the Chateau Margaux project in France, which opened to public in 2015. Silvia also worked for HCLA Architects and Hamilton Architects in London, and Møller Architects in Auckland, New Zealand. In 2012 she founded Bluups, a company that specializes in the design of 3D printing products that was nominated as Spain’s finalist at the BID 14, 2014 Ibero-American Design Biennal. In 2012 she started her partnership with Ana Agag in different architecture projects across the UK and Spain, among which stands the Valdemonjas winery in the Ribera del Duero region, Spain.
