MgA. Shota Tsikoliya, Ph.D, M.Sc. (*1991) obtained his Master of Science degree from the University of Stuttgart and Master of Arts degree from the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, where he currently works as an assistant professor at the Studio Architecture III. Shota teaches a course on Science, Engineering Technology in the Global Architectural Design at the international CIEE program. He leads and co‑organizes different workshops related to innovative technologies in architecture. Shota successfully defended his PhD thesis at AAAD in Prague with his dissertation: Computational Methods in Contemporary Architectural Practice: Emergent Architecture. He did his exchange programme at the Danish Academy of Arts, School of Architecture. Between 2014-2015 he studied and worked at the Institute of Computational Design, University of Stuttgart, where he participated on realization of ICD/ITKE Research Pavilion 2014-2015. He has gained rich work experience on award‑winning projects at architectural offices in Prague and Berlin.
