Shay Alkalay Born 1976 Tel-Aviv, is one of the UK's most exciting new design imports. After graduating with an MA in product design from the Royal College of Art, he set up Raw-Edges, a London-based design studio with fellow graduate, Yael Mer. Alkalay's designs take inspiration from products in animation to create a pieces that are yet highly functional and desirable. Alkalay has shown in Madrid, Cologne, Tokyo, Shanghai, Milan and New York.
