Sergio De Gaetano is the global leader of the Façade Engineering practice with extensive international experience and working knowledge of complex façades and roof systems. His design credits include Sky SOHO in Shanghai, China, with Zaha Hadid Architects, KOC Art Gallery in Istanbul, Turkey, with Grimshaw and the re-development of the Wimbledon No.1 Court in London with AELTC. His project experience at previous firms includes the extension to the Tate Modern in London with Herzog & de Meuron, the Pulkovo Airport in St. Petersburg, Russia, with Grimshaw and the Pirelli Headquarters in Milan, Italy. Sergio is also skilled in the investigation of building façade defects and providing expert witness services. He has been involved in fire performance assessments of existing building envelopes following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower in London, and in checking compliance with U.K. building regulations.
