Sangjoon Kwak was born in Seoul, and graduated from the Architectural Engineering Department of Yonsei University (Seoul, Korea). He has built his career in the area of architecture, urban and interior design at architecture firms including Space YEON Architects and Mass Studies (Seoul, Korea). In 2012, with partner Sojung Lee, he established OBBA and has engaged in various projects.
