Rutger holds a Diploma in Architectural Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens and a Master of Science in Building Technology from Delft University of Technology, Prior to founding his own practice, he collaborated with Oval Studio in Athens, Benthem Crouwel Architects, and UNStudio in Amsterdam, where he rose to the position of Associate architect.
