"I grew up in a neighborhood in Antwerp well-known for its high-rise designed by architect Renaat Braem; I’m lucky enough to be renting my own workspace in that same neighborhood. Ever since a young age I’ve had an urge to create. I decided that was exactly what I was going to do in life. I dream, design and build furniture translating my own vision into tangible objects. Working with the materials nature provides us with is one of my greatest ambitions. Wood being my biggest love, because of its brutal honesty. It symbolizes the woods where we played as kids. And because I prize these woods, I believe in creating with as little waste as possible."
