Rossana Atena is the principal of Atenastudio. In this position she has been involved as project leader in mostly international projects of the offi ce at both the urban scale and architectural scale following the implementation and the works supervision on the site. She is constantly working in collaboration with experts from various fields, therefore combining architectural theory, research, innovation and experimentation with high technical knowledge and professionalism. Rossana Atena, Architect (University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, 1999), received the Master of Excellence in rchitecture (2003) from the Berlage Institute, Postgraduate Laboratory of Architecture, in Rotterdam. During the years 2003-2004, she was researcher and guest co-tutor at the Berlage Institute of Rotterdam, for the II Year Research Program: “Domesticating Technology Transfers”. Since 2003 she is Contract Professors at LUDI, University ‘La Sapienza’ of Rome for the ‘Technology and Design’ studio. In 2005 she was jury member at the invited competition awarded by the Tirana Municipality for the Architectural Design of the Urban Complex in the Elbasani Road, Tirana”, the “New Regulatory Plan of Tirana” and the “Urban development Competition Zone E, Tirana”. Since 2010 she is Contract Professors at POLIS, Private University, International School of Architecture and Urban Development Policies of Tirana, Albania.
