The site of this project is representative of the typical landscape of the area of Igualada, Province of Barcelona. The spectacular situation invites of nature contemplation and relaxation, therefore the relationship between landscape and architecture was relevant for the design. The existing manor house (built in 1890) was rehabilitated with respect, preserving his original characteristics. The project includes the landscape design around the main building. Energy saving values and spatial simplicity were priority aspects of the whole project.
