Mountain interior

The project consist in creating a weekend apartment on the 2nd floor of the two family house. On the 90 sq. m we created a vast living space, gaining extra light from the roof windows, where the main element is the fireplace. On one side there is kitchen and on the other the living room furniture. The bathroom is covered with tiles that imitate local stone "Škril" that is all around present, on the roof of the old houses and stables. This stone also cover the pedestal of the fireplace and it's color is repeated in the kitchen niche and in the bookcase. There is a lot of wood, it contributes to the sense of warmth. On the floor, parquet it is rustic oak and also for furniture oak is used, brushed, to obtain this natural, material look.
