Un loft a tutto rovere / Oak shadows for the tuscan loft

Un loft progettato per un giovane imprenditore single sempre in giro per il mondo, abituato a spostarsi spesso da un albergo all’altro e con il desiderio di costruire nella propria città uno spazio dove poter staccare da tutto. Un ambiente decisamente maschile, contraddistinto da materiali grezzi e tonalità tra il grigio e il marrone, addolcito solamente – qualche anno dopo – dall’arrivo di una compagna che ha deciso di dare un tocco più umano disseminando qua e là fotografie di viaggi e di vita. Siamo nel centro di Firenze e parliamo dell’intero primo piano di un corpo fabbrica secondario di un edificio residenziale degli anni Quaranta, inserito nel tessuto di espansione ottocentesco della città. Utilizzato originariamente come laboratorio artigiano, più precisamente come setificio, e solo successivamente convertito ad uso residenziale, si tratta di uno spazio di 250 metri quadrati caratterizzati da una copertura a capanna sorretta da grandi incavallature metalliche color marrone e da ambienti particolarmente ampi e luminosi, grazie alla presenza di un importante lucernario a filo falda e di una terrazza a tasca dalle ampie vetrate. Il proprietario e l’amico architetto Giacomo Spezza, che si è occupato del restyling, sono rimasti subito affascinati da questi interni; per l’ampiezza dei volumi, per la luce e per il loro carattere informale, risultavano infatti perfetti per la realizzazione di una residenza con tutti i comfort di un’abitazione cittadina, ma allo stesso tempo, rilassante, giovane e fresca. I lavori sono iniziati nel 2005 e sono durati un anno e mezzo. “Abbiamo aggiunto, più che tolto – spiega l’architetto – questo era infatti un unico, grandissimo ambiente che abbiamo dovuto ridisegnare realizzando diversi tramezzi. Il progetto è consistito prevalentemente nella riqualificazione estetica e nella rivalorizzazione formale dello spazio, con l’inserimento di alcuni elementi nuovi e la sostituzione di tutte le finestre. Quel che più colpisce entrando nel loft è l’ampio soggiorno, in cui si possono distinguere tre aree: una davanti al camino, più intima ed accogliente; una di fronte all’enorme televisore, inno al relax e alla comodità e infine un’area dedicata alla convivialità, con un tavolo di considerevoli dimensioni capace di accogliere molti ospiti. A lato del salone è stata ricavata la zona padronale, dotata di una suite con una grande zona armadio e un bagno. Dalla parte opposta si trova la cucina, con annessa una camera per gli ospiti sviluppata su due livelli. A terra, fil rouge di tutta la residenza , un bellissimo rovere Fiemme 3000 oliato Fiemme 3000 BioPlus®, una scelta a colpo sicuro da parte della proprietà che desiderava un parquet scuro, di grande formato e soprattutto trattato con oli naturali. Il risultato: un loft a tutto rovere di impareggiabile eleganza. A loft designed for a young single manager who is always around the world , often used to move from one hotel to another , and with the desire to build in his own city a space where it’s possible to disconnect from everything. A masculine atmosphere, distinguished by the raw materials and shades of gray and brown , sweetened only - a few years later - by the arrival of a woman who has decided to give it a more human touch disseminating here and there photographs of travels and life. We are in the center of Florence and we talk about the entire first floorof a factory body side of a residential building of the Forties , part of the fabric of nineteenth-century expansion project of the city. Originally used as a craft , more precisely as silk factory , and only later converted to residential use, it is a space of 250 square meters, characterized by a gabled roof supported by large brown metal roof timbers and environments large and bright , thanks to the presence of an important skylight flush and a flap pocket terrace with large windows. The owner and the architect/friend Giacomo Spezza, who has worked on the redesign , were immediately fascinated by these interiors , the amplitude of the volumes , for light and for their informal character, were in fact perfect for the creation of a residence with all the comforts of a small town , but at the same time , relaxing, young and fresh. The work began in 2005 and lasted a year and a half. "We added more than removed - explains the architect - this was in fact a single , great environment that we had to redesign made several partitions. The project consisted mainly in the aesthetics redevelopment and formal upgrading of the space, with the addition of some new elements and the replacement of all windows. What is most striking entering the loft is the spacious living room , where we can distinguish three areas: one in front of the fireplace, intimate and welcoming, one in front of a huge TV , a hymn to relaxation and comfort and finally an area dedicated to conviviality , with a table of considerable size that can accommodate many guests. Next to this area it was obtained the master suite, which has a large closet area and a bathroom. On the opposite side there is the kitchen , with an adjacent guest room developed on two levels. On the ground , the fil rouge throughout the residence is a beautiful Fiemme 3000 oak , oiled Fiemme 3000 BioPlus® , a choice without fail on the part of the property that he wanted a dark wood floors , large format and mainly treated with natural oils. The result : a loft in all oak and incomparable elegance.
