Located at the entrance of the hamlet of Castelfalfi, coming from Pontedera, the hotel boasts 31 rooms and suites, designed with great care and functionality. The cozy "Lounge" invites you to spend a relaxing moment relishing an afternoon tea or an Italian espresso while reading a book. The Bar is the ideal place to end the day meeting friends for a drink or enjoying a "Good Night Cup." Situated next to the Bar you will find the breakfast room, where in the morning you can indulge yourself to freshly baked local breads, assorted cereals with sliced fruits, homemade cakes & pies, seasonal fruit & yogurts, cheese, ham & salami, accompanied by choice of fruit juice and a fine selection of teas and coffees, all served buffet style. Castelfalfi is a unique project to revive an entire area. A wholesale, yet wholly sensitive, restoration that covers more than 1,000 hectares, breathing new life into the architecture, agriculture and community of this 800 year-old settlement. Here in the heart of Tuscany, the estate of Castelfalfi has always been a simple, traditional paradise. And so it will remain: our restoration is sensitive to every element of the architecture and culture of the area. As well as restoring the central Borgo, or centre of the estate – which includes the medieval church, the castle (castello) and surrounding farmhouses – we are also building new villas, townhouses and apartments, all laid out across three neighbouring villages, or villaggi. The borgo and castello will include 41 residential apartments, divided between three buildings, as well as retail and restaurant space. Spread over 1,100 hectares of Tuscan countryside, the resort will also include two new hotels, a golf course and other sports facilities, as well as a beautiful spa and gym. Old or new, the buildings will be at one with the traditions of Tuscan architecture. We will employ local craftsmen, with the heritage and skills of the area in their blood, to create authentic, elegant and environmentally sensitive homes. Buildings will be gathered on the hilltops, and scattered more loosely down the slopes, in classic Tuscan style. Within these traditionally built walls, however, you will discover all the comforts, amenities and services you would expect of a twenty-first century resort, as well as a state-of-the-art infrastructure that minimises the resort’s ecological footprint, and protects the natural balance of this ancient landscape. Ubicato all'entrata del villaggio di Castelfalfi, provenendo da Pontedera, l'hotel dispone di 31 camere e suites, curatissime e funzionali. Castelfalfi è un progetto unico nel suo genere, volto alla valorizzazione integrata di un’area di importanti dimensioni. Una ristrutturazione globale, condotta con somma sensibilità, che interessa più di 1.000 ettari e dona nuova linfa vitale all’architettura, all’agricoltura e alla comunità di questo borgo nato 800 anni fa. Qui, nel cuore della Toscana, la proprietà di Castelfalfi è sempre stata un paradiso semplice e tradizionale. E tale resterà. La ristrutturazione in corso è molto attenta alla cultura e all’architettura locali. I lavori in corso interessano il Borgo centrale – che include la chiesa di origine medievale, il Castello e le cascine ivi circostanti – ma stiamo anche costruendo ex novo ville, eleganti unità a schiera e appartamenti posizionati in tre ideali villaggi. Il Borgo e il Castello includeranno 41 appartamenti residenziali, suddivisi in 3 corpi, così come negozi e ristoranti. Adagiato su più di 1.100 ettari di campagna toscana, il resort vanterà anche 2 alberghi di nuova costruzione, un campo da golf e diverse altre opportunità sportive, inclusa una spa con palestra di ultima generazione. Esistenti e nuove, tutte le costruzioni saranno un tutt’uno con la più squisita tradizione architettonica locale. Saranno coinvolti artigiani del luogo – forti di capacità ed esperienze fortemente impresse nella loro stessa personalità – per assicurare la creazione di dimore autentiche, eleganti e compatibili con l’ambiente. Le unità saranno raccolte in cima alle colline per poi scivolare morbidamente lungo le pendici, in pieno stile toscano.
