Allies and Morrison was jointly responsible for assessing the regeneration potential of the Lower Lea Valley and contributed to London's successful bid to host the 2012 Games. The practice subsequently became a part of a multi-disciplinary team appointed by the Olympic Delivery Authority to deliver masterplans for the Olympic and Paralympic Games, and for the Post-Games Transformation of the site in 2013, creating a new park for London. We are also the design architects for new structures, bridges and highways in the park. We are leading the design overlay of the public areas of the Olympic Park for use during the Games as well as a number of other key historic London venues with the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games (LOCOG), as part of Team Populous. In 2008 we were appointed by the LDA to jointly lead the masterplan for permanent Legacy development and are now working on this with the Olympic Park Legacy Company.
