A charging station project inspired by the bird’s body. The concept was the design of a compact structure made of the basic materials that DUO GARD Company produces or specializes on.The station operates independently via photovoltaic panels which are located above the canopy and are rotated around an horizontal axis, so that the optimum pv panel slope can be achieved. The stored energy of the photovoltaic panel can be used as charging energy for electric charged automobiles. Furthermore a percentage of the renewable energy is used for the night illumination. Also the structure can produce power above and beyond charging and lighting requirements, thus reducing its carbon footprint.
