Green Living Mannheim | Jan Havelka

Project solves a problematic area of a German city Mannheim. Project is all about revitalisation of this area and building new energy-efficient residential zone. The original road which used to go through this area is going to be moved and the old park is going to be extend. In this new part of the park is going to be a new housing estate. The new buildings have always two parts the residential one and the commercial one. The commercial part of the building is always situated in the parterre and the residential part is on the top of it. The effort was the every single step of design was processed from both aesthetic and technical so the enviroment friendly aspects. It leads to the design of buildings which is not an end in itself, but it always has its functional reasons.
