Production-warehouse complex and office building „Pakom“

For „Pakom“ d.o.o, production-warehouse complex and office building in the industrial zone North were designed. As opposed to the most of the buildings in the immediate surroundings, built with the sole purpose of meeting the growing business needs of investors, without any architectonic ambitions, the realization of this one was followed by the common intention of the investor and the designers to leave a contemporary architectonic mark in the zone North, whose character and concept could become a model in the local environment and to contribute in strengthening the corporate identity of the company, which is already signi.cant, even on a national level. By logical and well – considered decisions, the designers reached a town planning design offering clear answers to numerous functional specifications, primarily in terms of trafic, supply and distribution, and the modern treatment of numerous and diversi.ed functions and with balanced “decomposition” of individual volumes, skillfully formulated into a complex composition, they created a structure of an authentic expression and of high architectonic value which represents a new spatial landmark on the specific location, the very entrance to the city, and it is an example of good knowledge of materials, of the potential for combining their finished appearance, and of precisely conceived details.
