The Vaiss.eau pendant lamp borrows from the forms of historical glass bottles and receptacles. The project is concerning the relationship of traditional and manual methods of production and the design of contemporary products. The lamps particular exterior form and especially the inward curvature at the bottom resemble the shape of old glas bottles. It has a mouth-blown double-walled glass body, which combines in a single form lampshade, reflector and illuminated space. The cable is coiled inside the glass body and technical details are visible: the image alternates between luminaire and technical glass apparatus. As soon as the object is filled with light, a vitreous light container seems to arise: a luminous vessel. Material: mouth-blown glass in different colours Size: diameter: 27cm, height: 33 cm Prices on request.
