Murano - scent diffuser | Acqua Alta

The theme of the collection has inspired the creation of a fragrance diffuser for the environment, which incorporates, in materials, forms, and particularly in essence, the main theme of the project. The idea is to use a container made ​​of Murano glass to enclose a special fragrance, because this is then gradually absorbed and distributed by three ceramic cylinders biscuit, reminiscent in their forms the catapults in the Venetian lagoon. The theme of the collection inspired the creation of a scent diffuser, which incorporates materials, shapes and particularl fragrances that it diffuses. The idea is to design a piece in Murano glass to contain the essences that are then gradually absorbed and diffused through three ceramic biscuit cylinders. These elements are reminiscent of the briccole, traditional poles used in the Venice lagoon to assist in navigation. The selection of the fragrances was an important part in the development. We had the support of a prolific Venetian perfumer, Lorenzo Dante Ferro, who reinterpreted the atmospheres of the lagoon through his fragrances. We also developed a series of small dispensers to recharge and change the fragrances when needed.
