Patchwork tile | 117/ichiichinana

The space with tiled wall and floor creates an own distinctive world. That is powerful and impressive like Arabic style of architecture. 117/ichiichinana presents Patchwork Tile series with more modern pattern, which could give spaces a strength and power.  Look at the tile of the same color series. The motif on the center is repeated, and the motifs on the four corners are similar but slightly different. So you can make a patchwork by the same motif of four corners, or using different motif of four corners. The green tile of this series has 2 patterns. (You can see the differences on the below image.) One is constituted only green color, the other has yellow and green. This yellow gives you another creativity to draw a wall. For example, when you put togther the yellow tiles on the same places as drawing a booming flower, the wall will seem like a spring field.The tiles made of semi-porcelain with silk screen.  Chisato Ishikawa, a designer of 117/ichiichinana, has been inspired by various styles of interiours from different regions, which stimulate her to creative this Tile series.
